My love affair with travel began before I could even talk. At just 18-months-old, I found myself in Epernay, France—what were my parents thinking?!—where I had my first taste of champagne. That early exposure to the magic of travel, and let’s be honest, the finer things in life, sparked a lifelong passion for exploring new places and cultures.

But the wanderlust didn’t just start with me; global citizenship runs in my veins. My grandfather shared his agricultural expertise in Iran in the 1950s, and my grandmother’s secretarial work took her around the globe—eventually landing her in Lebanon, caring for her grandmother. Even my stepfather’s escape from Soviet occupied Estonia as a young boy left me with a sense of how deeply travel shapes not just our lives, but who we are.

With a degree in International Communications and a minor in Italian, I always knew I wanted to connect with people around the globe. University took me to Florence, where five life-changing months deepened, not only my appreciation for Italian culture but also my understanding of how transformative travel can be. Later, as a young professional, I knew that if I wanted to grow and learn more about myself, I needed to step outside my comfort zone. So, I moved to Australia for a year, and it changed my perspective on life and the world around me in ways I never imagined.

For me, travel has always been about more than just seeing the sights. It’s about the gift of the pause and the soulful experiences that change the way you see the world—and yourself.
